Want to donate to BLOC but aren’t sure what the difference between election advocacy, the PAC, and the education fund is? Don’t worry! We’ve got you covered.

BLOC Education Fund

Donations to the BLOC Education Fund allow us to do work that focuses on a specific issue and not on an election or candidate. Some examples of this work include organizing around the MPS referendum or voting rights in our state. Bloc Education Fund is a fiscally sponsored fund of Tides Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization.

BLOC - c4 Election and Issue Advocacy

Donations to BLOC allow us to hold elected officials accountable and promote ways to make change in our communities. BLOC is a fiscally sponsored fund of Tides Advocacy, a 501(c)(4) organization. Contributions to BLOC are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.

BLOC Membership

Be a founding member of BLOC and support us by donating once a month!

Membership donations are c4 and are not eligible for tax exemptions.

BLOC PAC

The BLOC PAC promotes and supports candidates who will make a difference in the Black Community and throughout Milwaukee and Wisconsin. Learn more about the BLOC PAC here. (The BLOC PAC is not formally affiliated with BLOC or BLOC Education Fund. Contributions to BLOC PAC are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.)
